How to find us

The Toybox Day Nursery
33 Oakfield Street
Roath
Cardiff
CF24 3RE

Tel: 029 2045 1700

The Toybox Day Nursery is situated in a quiet residential street off the main road to Newport out of Cardiff.  Passing Cardiff Royal Infirmary on the right hand side, carry on until you see a garage on the left hand side then look out for the Blue Dragon Hotel also on the left, and turn immediately left just after the traffic lights.  The nursery is a double fronted detached house about half way along Oakfield Street on the left hand side.

Coming into Cardiff on Newport Road, pass James Summers Funeral Home, the road will go into a single lane with a bus lane on the left.  Approach traffic lights.  Oakfield Street is on the right hand side just before the lights.  If you go through the lights and on to a dual carriageway you've gone too far!!

If you can't find us, please 'phone the nursery and we'll give you further directions.  You can also click on the tab below to see a map.

Welcome to our wonderful website!

We have achieved Cardif Healthy Eating Options Award, having fulfilled the Silver Standard. This award is in recognition of the healthy eating practices at the nursery and will complement the Food Standards Agency (Silver) Award which we have achieved for the last two years!! Next time we're 'Going for Gold'!!

The 2007 Inspection report is available to read at the nursery - we are very pleased with the comments and overall contents and would like to thank all the parents who completed the questionnaires and took the time to speak to the Inspectors. Letters from past and existing parents are held in the office for anyone to read. This year's Inspection will take place over the summer and as soon as we receive the report, it will be available for you to see.

The BBC have been recent visitors as they came to film the 3 year olds enjoying outdoor play and activities. The children really enjoyed themselves, particularly one budding media star who tried to take over from the cameraman!
