The Toybox Day Nursery is regulated and Inspected by the Care and Social Services Inspectorate for Wales.
The last Inspection took place in September 2007 and the final report is available to read either on the CSSIW website or at the nursery.
The next Inspection will take place sometime during the next three months (June, July, August 2008)
We have achieved Cardif Healthy Eating Options Award, having fulfilled the Silver Standard. This award is in recognition of the healthy eating practices at the nursery and will complement the Food Standards Agency (Silver) Award which we have achieved for the last two years!! Next time we're 'Going for Gold'!!
The 2007 Inspection report is available to read at the nursery - we are very pleased with the comments and overall contents and would like to thank all the parents who completed the questionnaires and took the time to speak to the Inspectors. Letters from past and existing parents are held in the office for anyone to read. This year's Inspection will take place over the summer and as soon as we receive the report, it will be available for you to see.
The BBC have been recent visitors as they came to film the 3 year olds enjoying outdoor play and activities. The children really enjoyed themselves, particularly one budding media star who tried to take over from the cameraman!
